The creation of this center was initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev back in 2022. A modern library will be established at the center, which will house international and national human rights documents, scientific research, commentaries, and analytical reports.
The opening of the "Human Rights House" is timed to coincide with Uzbekistan's Constitution Day and the International Human Rights Day.
It is expected that around 100 people will attend the ceremony. Among them are representatives of government bodies, international and regional organizations, diplomatic missions, scholars, experts, public figures, and journalists.
