Amendments that increase penalties for violations of regulations concerning the use of animal and plant life have been incorporated into the Criminal Code and the Administrative Code.

In particular, administrative liability has been established for the intentional damage, poisoning, or destruction of trees, shrubs, or other plants using chemical and biological agents during the construction or reconstruction of buildings and other structures.
Violations will be subject to fines:

for individuals — from 11.2 million to 18.7 million sums;

for officials — from 22.5 million to 28.1 million sums.
It is worth noting that on November 15 in Yangiyul, a man cut down five mature trees. The damage to nature amounted to 533 million sums.
