Железнодорожники рассмотрели ускорение разработки технико-экономического обоснования для строительства высокоскоростной магистрали Ташкент-Самарканд.

The issue was discussed during negotiations between the railway company’s management and the project leader from the South Korean firm, Jin Kang.

It is noted that this project was initiated by the President of Uzbekistan. It aims to modernize the country’s transportation system. The new route will significantly reduce travel time between two major cities, enhance passenger comfort, and improve the quality of transportation services.

Let us remind you that South Korean companies began developing the feasibility study (FS) for the construction of a new high-speed railway line in mid-December. The project is planned to be implemented by spring 2026.
