The head of state has been informed about the measures being taken to strengthen the social environment and develop religious education.

Uzbekistan is a legal, social, and secular state. The Constitution guarantees freedom of conscience for all citizens. As a result, there is interethnic harmony and an atmosphere of religious tolerance in the country. Representatives of all faiths freely perform religious rites.

Over the past five years, three laws, four presidential decrees, and numerous resolutions have been adopted in the field of religious education. The meeting noted that their implementation serves the interests of religious community representatives.

In particular, comfortable conditions have been created for Muslims in Uzbekistan: more than 100 new mosques have been built, and 555 have been renovated. A procedure has been established for allocating land for the construction of religious organization buildings.

The quota for Hajj has been doubled. Over the past seven years, more than 60,000 citizens have made the pilgrimage. The organization of Umrah has been regulated and brought into a legal framework.

Particular attention is being paid to issues of qualification and education. At the initiative of the President, international centers named after Imam Bukhari, Imam Tirmidhi, and Imam Maturidi have been established, as well as the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, which have become platforms for scientific research. Qualified specialists are being trained at the Tashkent Islamic Institute, the Mir Arab Higher Madrasah, the Hadith school, and the specialized educational institution named after Imam Tirmidhi. More than 30,000 citizens have completed courses on the study of the Quran and Tajwid.

The improvement of cemeteries has also become a priority direction. In recent years, memorial complexes of Abu Isa Tirmidhi, Abu Moin Nasafi, Sultan Uwais Qarani, and Suzyk-oty have been restored. Work continues at the Imam Bukhari memorial complex and the Center for Islamic Civilization. The charity fund "Waqf" has repaired and improved 90 pilgrimage sites.

To promote Islamic education and exchange experiences, international connections are actively developing. This year, international scientific and practical conferences on the topics "Islam – a Religion of Goodness and Peace" and "The Scientific Heritage of Imam Tirmidhi in Islamic Civilization," as well as a Week of Tolerance, were held in Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the growing threats in cyberspace pose a serious challenge. Radical ideas are spread through internet platforms that do not recognize borders and laws, leading to the involvement of vulnerable groups, including youth, in the activities of illegal organizations. It is essential for society as a whole to remain vigilant, and for religious scholars and elders to guide the right path.

The establishment of "Councils of Elders and Parents" in mahallas, based on the experience of Kokand and Margilan, plays an important role in these processes. The initiative of pilgrims from Uzbekistan, "Let's Become Devoted Servants of the New Uzbekistan and Preachers of Spiritual Values," has also become an important step towards improving the social situation.

The meeting emphasized the need to continue such noble initiatives, strengthen the spiritual environment in mahallas, and engage youth in education and labor. Responsible individuals were tasked with adapting those in need of social protection to society and ensuring their employment. Special attention will be given to maintaining religious tolerance and interethnic harmony in the country.
