The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with the chairman of the Turkish company "Aksa Enerji," Cemil Kazancı.
They discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with this company, its plans to participate in projects aimed at expanding and technologically modernizing Uzbekistan's energy sector.
The head of state expressed satisfaction with the productive activities of the Turkish company in our country, with which successful projects for the construction of modern power plants in Tashkent and Bukhara regions, totaling 740 megawatts, have been implemented. Today, a ceremony was held to launch a new power plant with a capacity of 400 megawatts in the Nishan district of the Kashkadarya region.
Promising projects in the field of "green" energy were discussed, including the modernization of gas distribution systems, the construction of biogas plants, sustainable energy supply for industrial zones, and others, in accordance with the bilateral "roadmap."
