The business trip to Kazan has concluded.

Following the events of the working visit, the Head of our state departed for Tashkent. At the airport, he was seen off by the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, along with other officials.

The President of Uzbekistan addressed the plenary session of the "BRICS Plus" summit, presenting significant initiatives aimed at achieving common sustainable development goals.

During the event, meetings and negotiations took place between our country's Leader and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the president of the New Development Bank, Dilma Rousseff, and the chairman of the board of Sberbank, Herman Gref.

A ceremony was also held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan – the "Duslyk" order, for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, and for strengthening the friendship and mutual understanding between their peoples.
