Three enterprises have been launched, and construction has begun on twelve more.

The second day of the head of state’s visit to the Navoi region commenced with a joyous event. A ceremony took place to celebrate new projects, attended by members of the community.

During the ceremony, 15 new projects were announced.

In particular, projects have been initiated for the extraction and processing of combustible shale in the Kanimekh district, the construction of a 300-megawatt solar photovoltaic station, and a 75-megawatt energy storage system in the Karmanin district, the production of technical gases in the city of Navoi, the processing of marble in Gazgan and granite in Zarafshan, the extraction and enrichment of kaolin in the Uchquduq district, as well as the production of fish feed in the Khatyrchin district.

Enterprises for the production of potassium sulfate and sulfuric acid have been launched in the Karmanin district, cotton cellulose in the city of Navoi, and granite processing in the Nuratin district.

The total cost of the 15 projects amounts to 3 billion 600 million dollars. These projects will create over 7,000 jobs.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pressed the symbolic button and kicked off the construction and operations of the new projects.
