A minimum monthly salary has been established for football players.

In the employment contracts that will be registered by the League, the minimum salary for a football player is set at no less than five times the minimum wage, which means it cannot be lower than 5,775,000 sums (currently, the minimum wage is 1,155,000 sums).

The PFL of Uzbekistan reports that it will not register contracts where the salary amount is below the established minimum. This provision has been included in the contract to motivate young football players.
