Today, four out of five matches of the 24th round of the women's championship of Uzbekistan were scheduled to take place. One match has been postponed to November 5. However, only three games were completed: the match in Fergana was canceled due to the hosts' team not showing up for the game. According to the information we have, the players are on strike due to long-overdue salary payments. If they repeat this action, the championship organizing committee will have the right to disqualify the team from the tournament and automatically relegate it to the first league, regardless of its position and points. Additionally, the "Neftchi" club will face penalties: for not showing up for the game, firstly; and for the prolonged non-payment of their legal wages, secondly.
