Experts have identified the two most powerful production sports cars in the United States.

American sports cars continue to amaze with their power, speed, and engineering solutions. Experts from the HotCars portal have compiled a ranking of the ten most powerful production cars manufactured by American brands. The list includes only models released by official automakers, excluding tuned versions like the 1700-horsepower Dodge Demon from Hennessey Performance.

Leading the ranking is the Hennessey Venom F5. This hypercar is equipped with a 6.6-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 1817 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed transmission. The Venom F5 accelerates to 97 km/h in under three seconds, with a top speed reaching 500 km/h, making it the most powerful internal combustion engine vehicle in history.

In second place is the SSC Tuatara, featuring a 5.9-liter V8 engine with 1750 horsepower. This supercar can reach 97 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, with a maximum speed exceeding 483 km/h.
