The multimedia system features one of the most advanced solutions – augmented reality, but the system is controlled “classically” via a pleasant-to-touch touch dial, rather than virtual buttons. This makes it more enjoyable to use. Even in the premium segment, many cars now seem to boast of their “technological” interiors, making them feel more alienating. The Kia K9 offers the perfect balance of classic and modern styles. It has no shortage of high technology, yet the interior remains very cozy.

The presence of electric drives for everything necessary is expected in a luxury sedan, but the Kia K9 surprises even here. Its doors are equipped with electric closers, a feature found only in the most expensive vehicles.

The 12.3” digital instrument panel not only features neat, beautiful, and clear graphics but also displays images from the side cameras during lane changes – this is convenient and enhances safety. In fact, safety in the K9 has been addressed at all levels, starting with the very structure of the body. Rigid elements made of ultra-high-strength steel form a reliable safety structure around the passenger compartment, with carefully considered energy dispersion zones in the event of a collision. The Kia flagship is equipped with a significant number of airbags – 10, even by modern premium standards. The driver is assisted not only by the aforementioned side cameras. There are numerous electronic assistants and safety systems ready to help in almost any situation.

However, the true potential of the vehicle can only be revealed while driving. The Kia K9 does not disappoint in this regard, confidently and reliably consuming miles. The powerful 3.3-liter gasoline engine (249 hp) works magnificently in tandem with the 8-speed hydraulic automatic transmission. Shifts are so smooth that they are almost imperceptible, and the engine usually operates at the most optimal RPMs. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system allows for confident driving across various surfaces and weather conditions. An engineering masterpiece is the electronically controlled suspension. Sensors analyze the vehicle's movement in real-time and manage the operation of the shock absorbers, with a total of 1024 different settings for their stiffness.

Considering that with such a range of positive qualities, the Kia flagship remains more affordable than its German competitors, it can confidently be said that it is a very interesting player in the luxury sedan segment.
