Starting October 15, the video platform "YouTube" will extend the duration of Shorts from one minute to three. The guidelines explain that this format is currently the most popular among content creators.
In addition, the platform will introduce a feature that allows users to see fewer Shorts in their main feed. Users will also have access to new templates designed to simplify the creation of short videos.
Furthermore, it was reported that in early September, YouTube implemented a parental control feature. Parents can now connect to their teenager's account without viewing the content itself. Since 2021, the service has been testing accounts with parental controls for children "younger than the age of consent" (which is 13 years in the U.S.).
